Community Rules

Metamorphosis is a place to build, play and hang out. To keep it fun and safe for everyone, these rules apply everywhere on the site: the Sandbox, build-together sessions, chat, shared worlds, stories and ideas.

🚫Nothing illegal

No building, sharing or planning anything against the law: drugs, weapons for hurting people, stolen stuff, scams, or anything that helps someone commit a crime.

🔞No nudity or sexual stuff

No naked or sexual builds, pictures, words or jokes. Ever. Anything sexual involving kids gets reported to the authorities.

🤬No hate or bullying

No slurs, hate symbols, or attacking anyone for their race, religion, gender, disability or who they are. No harassing, threatening or ganging up on people.

🔒Keep personal info private

Don't share your own or anyone else's real address, phone number, school, passwords or private photos. Don't ask other players for theirs.

🩸No real-world gore

Silly cartoon spooks are fine. Real violence, self-harm, or making fun of real tragedies isn't.

💣Don't wreck things

No destroying other people's builds, spamming, cheating, hacking, or trying to break the site.

©️Share what's yours

Only share things you made or have permission to use. Don't copy other people's games, art, music or characters.

🤝Be decent

Treat people the way you'd want to be treated. Lots of players are young, so keep it clean.

What happens if someone breaks the rules

Words that break the rules get blocked automatically in names, chat, screens and shared worlds.
Anything can be reported with a 🚩 Report button. Worlds and sessions that get several reports are hidden until we check them.
Session hosts can remove anyone from their session, and that person can't come back in.
We can remove anything that breaks these rules, and block anyone who keeps breaking them, without warning.
Anything illegal, especially anything involving harm to children, will be reported to the police.

See something bad?

Tap 🚩 Report on the world or session, or tell us on the contact page. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first.

Age

You need to be 13 or older, or playing with a parent. Parents: build-together sessions have chat with other players. Use Private or Invite only sessions to play only with people you know.
